Jasper Meijerink

Hey, I’m Jasper. I’m an AI student at VU Amsterdam and currently working as a Working Student in AI & Data Science at Siemens, where I develop AI-powered solutions for building service operations.

I’m also a Student Assistant at the VU Education Lab, where I deliver AI workshops to 200+ faculty and built a Chrome extension that turns web content into educational resources. I also serve as an AISO AI Impact Ambassador and sit on the VU Honours Evaluation Committee.

Most of my projects come from things I run into at uni or problems I want to solve for myself: a tool to bulk-download Canvas courses, scrapers for apartment hunting in Amsterdam, ML models for detecting AI-generated text. I like building things that are actually useful.

When I’m not coding I’m probably walking around Amsterdam with music on.
